Overview
DigiSakhi is a 4-week online volunteer program for students aged 15–22 who want to create real social impact through digital education. Participants collaborate remotely to script, record, and refine educational videos focused on digital skills, financial literacy, AI tools, website creation, and online entrepreneurship. Contributors create 9–10 short educational videos that are published live on the DigiSakhi platform and accessed by real learners across India. Volunteers receive certificates, portfolio-ready experience, and opportunities for recommendation letters based on performance.

Week-wise schedule
Week 1
Understand & Ideate
- Attend onboarding and platform orientation
- Understand learner needs and content guidelines
- Research assigned topics
- Submit content outline
- Connect with NGO partners
Week 2
Script & Storyboard
- Write scripts for 9–10 short videos
- Participate in peer review
- Create storyboards and thumbnails
- Design graphics in Canva
- Submit scripts for approval
Week 3
Record & Edit
- Record educational videos
- Edit with captions and graphics
- Create subtitle files if needed
- Submit first cut for review
Week 4
Refine & Publish
- Incorporate review feedback
- Submit final videos and summaries
- Present work during showcase call
- Publish videos on DigiSakhi platform
- Receive certificate and recommendations
Pre-requisites
- Comfortable speaking on camera in English or a regional Indian language
- Access to a smartphone or laptop with internet
- Interest in education or social impact
- Ability to commit 5 hours per week
- No prior technical experience required
